GF Securities' (HKG:1776, SHE:000776) net profit attributable to owners in 2024 jumped 38% to 9.64 billion yuan from 6.98 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on March 28.
Earnings per share rose 39% year on year to 1.15 yuan from 0.83 yuan, beating Visible Alpha estimates of 1 yuan per share.
The Chinese securities broker's total revenue climbed 12% to 37.3 billion yuan from 33.3 billion yuan in the preceding year. The current revenue is higher than VA analysts' forecast of 24.9 billion yuan.
