Tesoro Gold (ASX:TSO) said a recently completed magneto-telluric geophysical survey, combined with existing data, expanded the modeled intrusion-related gold system at the El Zorro project in Chile, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company identified two new near-deposit target areas and an additional regional target, extending the corridor for over 30 kilometers, the filing said.
Drilling is set to be undertaken this year to test high-priority targets, according to the filing.
Company shares rose 6% in recent trade.
