American Coastal Insurance (ACIC) said late Tuesday it closed the sale of its subsidiary, Interboro Insurance, to Forza Insurance Holdings for $26.4 million in cash.

The deal finalized American Coastal Insurance's shift into a specialty insurer focused on underwriting commercial residential property insurance, Chief Executive Brad Martz said in a statement.
