Endeavour Silver's shares declined after the company said it will buy a silver mine in Peru and sell stock.
The stock was down 13% to $3.72 on the NYSE and is up about 1.6% this year.
Endeavour agreed to buy Minera Kolpa and its main asset, the Huachocolpa Uno mine, from affiliates of Arias Resource Capital Management and Grupo Raffo for $145 million in cash and stock.
Endeavour announced a $40 million stock sale and later upsized it to $45 million, citing significant demand. It is selling 11.6 million shares for $3.88 each.
