SoftBank (JP:9984; SFTBY): The Japanese tech conglomerate agreed to lead a funding round of up to $40 billion in a subsidiary of OpenAI, valuing the ChatGPT maker at $300 billion.
PVH $(PVH)$: The owner of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger posted better-than-forecast results and gave a stronger-than-expected outlook. Shares leapt nearly 15% in offhours trading.
Deutsche Bank (XE:DBK), $(DB)$: A former senior executive sued the lender, alleging it hid operational mishaps that led to a $30 million loss in its U.S. arm. Shares were up over 1% in German morning trading.
General Motors $(GM)$, Ford $(F)$: The carmakers are due to release March sales figures that will be scoured for any early impact from tariffs. President Trump's global auto levies, announced last week, are due to kick in Thursday.
XPeng $(XPEV)$: The Chinese Tesla rival posted a jump in monthly and quarterly sales. Its American depositary receipts rose over 3% premarket.
Meta Platforms $(META)$: Executives have pressed trade officials to fight an expected European Union fine and cease-and-desist order, The Wall Street Journal reported. The decision relates to whether Facebook and Instagram users should be able to access those services free, without seeing personalized ads.
