Hong Kong's total property sales value increased 21% to HK$46.9 million in March from HK$38.8 million in the year-ago period, according to data from the city's Land Registry released Wednesday.
Building sales rose 22% to HK$45.6 billion from HK$37.4 billion a year earlier, while the number of transactions grew 33% to 6,661 from 5,013.
Land sales slid 14% to $1.22 billion from HK$1.42 billion a year ago, while the number of sales fell to 162 from 164 in the prior-year period.
Residential building sales increased to HK$38.8 billion from HK$30.1 billion in the year-ago period.
