CG Power Completes Acquisition of Renesas Electronics' Radio Frequency Components Business

CG Power and Industrial Solutions (NSE:CGPOWER, BOM:500093) has completed the acquisition of the radio frequency components business of Renesas Electronics America, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The agreement for the acquisition was signed in October 2024, after which the company secured the required regulatory approvals, including that from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

Subsequently, the seller has transferred the assets and business to the entities incorporated by CG Power in India, the US, China, and Turkey to carry out the RF components business.
