GreenTech Metals (ASX:GRE) and Artemis Resources (ASX:ARV) executed a binding agreement to consolidate lithium mineral rights of their tenement holdings near Karratha in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The rights will be consolidated into a joint venture called Andover Lithium, in which both firms will hold a 50% interest.
GreenTech remains focused on increasing the existing resources of high-grade copper and zinc at its Whundo VMS project and Artemis remains focused on increasing existing resources at its Carlow gold project.
GreenTech's shares fell over 1% in recent trading, while those of Artemis fell 6% in recent trading on Thursday.
