Vedanta (BOM:500295) aluminum production in fiscal Q4 rose 1% year-over-year to 603 kilotonnes (kt) from 598 kt a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing.

Alumina production during the quarter ended March 31, dropped 11% to 431 kt from 484 kt a year earlier, Vedanta said in the filing.

Zinc India recorded mined metal production of 310 kt during the period, up 4% from 299 kt a year earlier.

Meanwhile Zinc International's total mined metal volumes jumped 52% to 50 kt from 33 kt year earlier, the company said in the filing.
