Trading in Longhui International's (HKG:1007) shares has been suspended at the firm's request after the company decided to delay the publication of its annual results for the year 2024, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The move came after the firm was informed by its auditor, CL Partners, about certain allegations against some directors and the controlling shareholder related to certain operational and internal control matters.
The allegations may or may not have an impact on the firm's annual results.
The restaurant business operator formed a committee to investigate the allegations and will keep investors informed with relevant updates.
