Automobile manufacturer Bajaj Auto (NSE:BAJAJ-AUTO, BOM:532977) recorded a 1% rise in its total sales in March to 369,823 units, against 365,904 units a year ago, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

Domestic sales in March grew to 221,474 units from 220,393 units a year earlier, while exports were up 2% year-on-year at 148,349 units.

Shares of the company were down over 2% in recent trade.
