United Airlines Holdings said it plans to become the only U.S. airline to offer flights to Bangkok, Thailand, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The carrier said Wednesday that it is extending its Pacific network with those new flights, which will start at a later date, as well as new daily service from Hong Kong expected to start this fall.
United is also adding nonstop service to Adelaide, Australia, from the U.S. starting on Dec. 11, and a second daily flight between San Francisco and Manila starting on Oct. 25.
With those additions, United will be offering flights from the U.S. to 32 different cities in the Pacific region, which is four times more cities than any other U.S. airline, the company said.
