Domino's Pizza and DoorDash entered into a partnership that will soon bring the company's pizzas and other items to the delivery app.

The companies said a pilot is currently underway in select locations, with a planned nationwide launch in the U.S. beginning in May and across Canada later in the year.

Domino's Chief Operating Officer Joe Jordan said it continues to build towards the $1 billion opportunity it believes the aggregator marketplace represents. "Tapping into incremental customers, particularly in suburban and rural markets, is a meaningful opportunity for Domino's, as our brand continues to open stores nationwide," he added.

Domino's in recent years has reversed its long-held stance against food delivery companies in a bid to claw back pizza sales made on mobile apps. The company in 2023 signed a deal with Uber Technologies to list its menus on the ride-share company's food-delivery apps.
