EQ Resources Says Non-Executive Chairman to Become Executive Chairman on Interim Basis

EQ Resources (ASX:EQR) said that its current non-executive chairman, Oliver Kleinhempel, agreed to accept the role of executive chairman from Tuesday, according to a same-day Australian bourse filing.

The appointment was made on an interim basis until a new chief executive officer is appointed, at which time the chairman's role will revert to a non-executive position.

The appointment will assist with the transition of current CEO Kevin MacNeill to the role of chief technical officer, effective Tuesday.
