ConocoPhillips (COP) is considering selling the Oklahoma oil and gas assets it inherited from its takeover of Marathon Oil last year, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The assets, located in the Anadarko basin, are expected to fetch over $1 billion, the people reportedly told Reuters.
ConocoPhillips did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
