Aerometrex (ASX:AMX) won an AU$875,000 contract with the Queensland government for its light detection and ranging (LiDAR) product, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The contract includes the acquisition and delivery of high accuracy airborne LiDAR, concurrent aerial imagery, and elevation datasets across Southwest Queensland, the filing stated.
The Australian and Queensland governments will jointly fund the project.
The aerial mapping specialist's shares were at a 52-week low after falling 10% in recent Monday trade.
