BlockBeats previously reported, on April 3rd, according to the Financial Times, multiple sources familiar with the matter revealed that under the terms of the deal, a group of new external investors, including a16z, Blackstone Group, Silver Lake, and other large private equity firms, will own about half of TikTok's U.S. operations.
