CNOOC's (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) actual controller, China National Offshore Oil Corp., plans to boost its shareholding in the company by 2 billion yuan to 4 billion yuan in 12 months.
The controlling shareholder currently owns 62.08% of CNOOC, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
