Exxon Mobil (XOM) is facing no shareholder proposals this proxy season for the first time in at least 25 years, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The report said Exxon received one proposal but the US Securities and Exchange Commission agreed to discard it because it sought to "micromanage the company."
The absence of shareholder proposals follows a year during which the company sued two investors to remove climate-focused proposals that Exxon described as "extreme agenda."
