1318 ET - Amazon's prices will likely increase due to tariffs, but it has some advantage over other retailers, Bank of America analysts Justin Post and Michael McGovern say. The e-commerce giant didn't experience much of a sales dent from the 2018 tariffs, but these duties are "a potential new ballgame for supply chains and costs," the analysts say, cutting the price estimate to $225 from $257. Amazon is still a buy, they say, because it's expected to gain share as it can offer low prices and a wide selection through both first-party and third-party selling. Its rapidly growing essentials business could also help give it a boost, the analysts say. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
