GEM (SHE:002340) partnered with its South Korean counterpart EcoPro (KOSDAQ:086520) and its unit, EcoPro BM (KOSDAQ:247540), to build the International Green Industrial Park in Indonesia, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Thursday.
The industrial park will produce 200,000 tons of cathode material every year.
A joint venture will be set up to manage the construction of the plant, with its production to start by the end of 2026, the Chinese waste recycling company said.
Both EcoPro and EcoPro BM's shares closed around 3% lower.
