Swoop (ASX:SWP) partnered with Indian optical and digital technology company Sterlite Technologies to upgrade around 1,000 homes in Western Australia with high-speed fiber-to-the-home connectivity, according to a statement released Thursday.

Under the collaboration, Sterlite Technologies will support the company's network upgrade with Layer-1 optical solutions for brownfield deployments, the statement said.

The partnership will provide optical networking and connectivity to company infrastructure and build on its acquisition of conduit and fiber assets in the state.
