Elsight (ASX:ELS) secured a follow-on order worth $4.3 million from its European-based defense original equipment manufacturing customer, following an initial $300,000 production order, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The new order, which spans the April-July period, involves the purchase of Elsight's Halo connectivity systems for use in a European government drone program, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 6% in recent Wednesday trade.
