Tata Consultancy Services (NSE:TCS, BOM:532540) recorded a decline in its consolidated attributable profit to 122.24 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 124.34 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share contracted to 33.79 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 34.37 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the Indian IT services provider.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4, however, increased to 644.79 billion rupees from 612.37 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's board recommended a final dividend of 30 rupees per equity share of 1 rupee each, subject to the approval of its shareholders.
