BlockBeats News, April 9th, after the release of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce's tariff countermeasures, US stock futures experienced a short-term plunge, with Dow futures falling over 1.8%, S&P 500 futures dropping 1.7%, and Nasdaq futures down 1.65%.
Earlier, the Chinese State Council Customs Tariff Commission stated that it would adjust the additional tariff rates specified in the "Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Imported Goods Originating in the United States" from 34% to 84%.
