BlockBeats News, April 9th, according to Crowdfund Insider, Ripple announced a $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road Partners, entering the multi-asset institutional brokerage field. This acquisition is one of the largest transactions in the crypto industry to date, and it will make Ripple the first cryptocurrency company to operate a multi-asset primary brokerage service. The deal was facilitated by FT Partners.
Hidden Road is a primary brokerage serving foreign exchange, digital assets, derivatives, and synthetic asset trading, with an annual settlement volume of up to $3 trillion, and clients include institutions such as Coinbase, Talos, CME Group, etc.
