1518 ET [Dow Jones]--U.S. stocks are surging after President Trump says in a social-media post that he authorized a 90-day pause on certain tariffs. Some companies, however, are missing out on the rally. Johnson & Johnson and Church & Dwight, both owners of consumer brands, saw their shares edge lower Wednesday afternoon, as did grocer Kroger, discount retailer Dollar General and fast-food chain McDonald's. Utilities including American Water Works, Consolidated Edison and Duke Energy were also trading in the red, alongside telecommunications companies such as AT&T and Crown Castle. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
