Caspian pipeline's damaged pumping station will be back online by end-May

MOSCOW, April 10 (Reuters) - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) said on Thursday it expects its damaged Kropotkinskaya pumping station to be back in operation by the end of May.

Moscow accused Ukraine of striking the pumping station and a nearby oil depot in southern Russia in February.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces said then that it had attacked Russian energy infrastructure, including the CPC pumping station and the nearby Ilsky oil refinery.

The Caspian pipeline, which ships more than 1% of daily global supply, stretches over 1,500 km (939 miles) and carries crude from Kazakhstan's Tengiz oilfield on the northeastern shores of the Caspian Sea as well as from Russian producers.
