Production of the Blackwell chips has already started at TSMC's (NYSE:TSM) Phoenix plant. Meanwhile, the company is teaming up with Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas to develop the supercomputer sites. Mass production at these Texas locations is expected to kick off within 12 to 15 months.

Nvidia is also partnering with Amkor and SPIL in Arizona to handle advanced packaging and testing operations. These collaborations aim to use the latest technologies in manufacturing and quality assurance for the chip and supercomputing supply chain.

This new venture is seen as a major boost for U.S.-based AI infrastructure. Nvidia believes the initiative will not only strengthen its supply chain but also create hundreds of thousands of jobs, underpinning long-term economic growth and resilience.
