Peabody Energy (BTU) said Tuesday it agreed to provide seven to eight million tons of coal annually for at least the next seven years to Associated Electric Cooperative.
Peabody said it will supply Associated's New Madrid Power Plant and Thomas Hill Energy Center in Missouri from its North Antelope Rochelle Mine in Wyoming's Powder River Basin.
Peabody Energy shares were up by 0.5% in premarket trading.
