Dine Brands Global (DIN), parent of Applebee's, entered into an agreement to use Toast's (TOST) technology at the restaurant's locations in the US, Toast said Monday.

Applebee's will use Toast point-of-sale terminals, Toast Go handhelds, Kitchen Display Systems, and Restaurant Management Suite Enterprise to strengthen operational flexibility and enhance labor efficiency, Toast said.

Shares of Toast rose 2% and Dine Brands Global climbed 3.3% in recent trading.
