ProQR Therapeutics (PRQR) said Monday it appointed Dennis Hom as chief financial officer and Cristina Lopez as chief medical officer.

Hom joins the company from Sagimet Biosciences (SGMT), where he most recently was head of corporate development and CFO, ProQR added. He will succeed Jurriaan Dekkers, who is stepping down as finance chief but will remain during the transition period.

Lopez most recently served as global head of neurodegeneration at Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).

ProQR's stock was down 2.2% in recent Monday trading.
