Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (ARWR) said late Tuesday it has appointed Daniel Apel as its chief financial officer, effective May 13, succeeding Ken Myszkowski, who will retire.

Myszkowski will continue to offer his services as an employee adviser to ensure a smooth transition, the company said.

Apel previously worked as global head of financial planning and analysis at Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), Arrowhead said.
