Peel Mining (ASX:PEX) reported pit-constrained indicated and inferred mineral resource estimates for its Wagga Tank metals deposit, which were incorporated into its resource estimate for the South Cobar project in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday ASX filing.
Wagga Tank pit constrained mineral resource estimate contains 3.56 million tonnes at 0.59% copper, 0.63 grams per tonne grade of gold, 33 g/t silver, 0.64% lead, and 0.7% zinc.
The open pit mineral resource estimate contains around 21,100 tonnes of copper, 72,500 ounces of gold, 3.77 million ounces of silver, 22,900 tonnes of lead, and 24,900 tonnes of zinc.
The global resource estimate for the project contains around 235,000 tonnes of copper, 271,000 ounces of gold, 25.4 million ounces of silver, 166,000 tonnes of lead, and 331,000 tonnes of zinc.
The mining firm plans to continue work at the Wagga Tank deposit, including infill and metallurgical drilling and metallurgical test work to optimize processing options.
