Kingsgate Consolidated (ASX:KCN) said Akara Resources continues to intersect significant gold in the Chatree southeast complex near the Chatree gold mine in Thailand and has confirmed gold and silver continuity in the Chang Puek prospect, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Akara has been conducting diamond drilling and reverse circulation drilling exploration programs focused on investigating exploration targets and characterizing mineralized zones.
A total of 38 reverse circulation holes for a total depth of 5,158 meters and five diamond drill holes for a total depth of 726 meters were completed until March 31.
It also said that a fixed-wing topographic survey was completed at the Nueva Esperanza development project in Chile with geochemical sampling commencing.
