Macrotech Developers Retains 'Lodha' Brand as Brothers Resolve Disputes; Shares Climb 3%

Macrotech Developers (NSE:LODHA, BOM:543287) said the Lodha brothers - Abhishek Lodha and Abhinandan Lodha - have resolved all outstanding disputes, including those related to trademark, according to a Monday Indian bourse filing.

Macrotech Developers will have exclusive rights to the 'Lodha' and 'Lodha Group' brand names, while Abhinandan Lodha will have exclusive rights to use the 'House of Abhinandan Lodha' brand, the filing said.

The two brand entities are unrelated, and neither brother has any claim over the other's businesses, it added.

Shares of Macrotech Developers were up 2.7% in recent trading.
