Diana Shipping (DSX) said Tuesday it signed a time charter contract with China Resource Chartering for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the motor vessel Ismene, at a gross charter rate of $11,000 per day.

The charter, expected to commence April 26, will run until at least March 20, 2026, and at most May 20, 2026.

The employment of Ismene, a 77,901-deadweight tonnage Panamax dry bulk vessel, is anticipated to yield about $3.5 million in gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period, the company said.

Shares of Diana Shipping were down 1% in recent trading.
