Zhejiang CFmoto Power's (SHA:603129) attributable profit rose 50% to 415.2 million yuan in the first quarter from 277.5 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Earnings per share at the motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle manufacturer increased 47% to 2.71 yuan from 1.84 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating income grew 39% to 4.25 billion yuan from 3.06 billion yuan a year earlier.
Shares at the motorcycle manufacturer slid 7% during late morning trading on Wednesday.
