WA Kaolin (ASX:WAK) reported sales revenue of AU$573,000 in March and a sales volume of 2,572 tonnes, rising 41% from February, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Sales to the fiberglass market segment represented 64% of the sales volume and ceramic sales were 33% of the volume for the month. The firm's current orders in hand for April came in at 3,212 tonnes for a revenue of AU$669,000.
It noted that it was engaged with an unprecedented level of inbound sales inquiries from China, per the filing.
Its shares rose 3% on market close on Monday.
