Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) said assays from air core drilling at its Norseman platinum group elements-nickel project in Western Australia extended the anomalous target zone, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
"Significant" results from drilling at the Mission Sill prospect resulted in intercepts of 4 meters at 1.8 grams per tonne grade of palladium, platinum, and gold from 28 meters as well as 4 meters at 0.8 grams per tonne grade of palladium, platinum, and gold from 16 meters.
Around 4,500 meters of aircore drilling in 159 drill holes were undertaken in the March campaign.
Follow-up drilling will aim to define the extent of the anomalous target zones before bedrock drill testing, the filing said.
