Ford's China Business May Take a Hit After Seeing Revenue Double -- Market Talk

1521 ET - Ford earned $18.35 billion of revenue from China in 2024, more than double the $7.4 billion it realized in 2022, according to the company's annual report. While the carmaker's sales in China have been rising it is now stopping shipments of certain vehicles to the Asian nation, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday. Ford began shipping vehicles to China about a decade ago, but is now cutting off sales of some of its priciest SUVs and trucks, including the F-150 Raptor and Bronco SUV. Ford said it is adjusting exports in light of current tariffs. The company has previously said tariffs may have a significant adverse effect on its supply chain and finances.
