GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) completed the acquisition of MGC Group Holdings (WA) under the previously announced scheme of arrangement, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The deal provides the firm with a strategic entry into the rail systems sector by providing specialized safety-critical rail systems services, including overhead line equipment, signalling, electrical and communications services, to customers across the metro, mining, and freight sectors in Western Australia, the filing said.

The deal is expected to be earnings-accretive for the company.
