Eastern Pioneer Driving School's (SHA:603377) vice chairman, Yan Wenhui, resigned due to work arrangements, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.

Yan will continue to serve as a director and general manager of the Chinese automobile driving school company.

The company plans to elect a new vice chairman as soon as possible, the disclosure said.

The company's shares closed 1% higher.
