1442 ET - Six Flags is willing to charge less if it means getting more people into its parks. The regional theme park operator, which is aiming to recapture attendance that has been slow to come back after the pandemic, is increasing its spending on marketing and working to improve guest satisfaction in an effort to boost visitation numbers. At the same time, management tells JPMorgan analysts that the company will be less aggressive on pricing while trying to increase volumes. "But that doesn't mean we don't take pricing," management tells the analysts, according to a research note. The analysts note that increased promotional activity in the past two months has kept ticket prices lower than historical averages. JPMorgan cuts its price target to $28 from $46. Shares rise 4% to $33.10. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
