Eastern Air Logistics' (SHA:601156) net profit attributable to shareholders in 2024 climbed 8% to 2.69 billion yuan from 2.49 billion yuan a year ago, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.

The earnings per share of China Eastern Airlines' (SHA:600115, HKG:0670) logistics arm rose 7.6% year on year to 1.69 yuan from 1.57 yuan.

The operating income jumped 17% to 24.1 billion yuan from 20.6 billion yuan in the preceding year, the filing said.

The company's shares slipped less than 2% in recent trade.
