Adani Hydro Energy Five, a step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (NSE:ADANIGREEN, BOM:541450), has entered into a power purchase agreement with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The agreement is for the supply of 1,250 MW energy storage capacity from its pumped hydro storage projects.
In February, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Saur Urja (LA), received a letter of award from the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation for procuring 1,250 MW of energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage projects.
