LG CNS (KRX:064400) secured its first US public sector smart city contract, partnering with the New York City Economic Development Corp. to install electric vehicle charging stations and a control system at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.
The deal comprises Level 3 ultra-fast chargers and energy storage systems, Pulse News reported Friday.
In a separate project, LG CNS will build smart street lighting in Hogansville, Georgia, with plans to expand to nearby cities, it said.
Shares of LG CNS rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
