Charter Hall (ASX:CHC)is in talks to purchase Waverley Gardens shopping centre in Melbourne from Elanor Investors (ASX:ENN), The Australian reported on Wednesday.
The company's offer is likely to be AU$10 million below rival Vicinity Centres' previous bid for the property, according to the report.
The shopping center is an unlisted joint venture between Elanor and Heitman, who bought it for AU$178 million in 2018.
Both Charter Hall and Elanor Investors did not immediately respond to MT Newswire's request for comment.
