The Australian Takeovers Panel received an application from Emu (ASX:EMU) seeking a review of the panel's decision concerning the firm, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Emu had alleged that certain requisitioning shareholders were associates of various other Emu shareholders and were acting in concert to obtain majority control of the Emu board. The panel declined to conduct proceedings.

The president of the panel consented to the application for review under review.

A review panel has not been appointed at this stage, per the filing.
