Apollo Global Management (APO) and Bullrock Energy Ventures said Wednesday that they have committed up to $220 million in funding for a new joint venture partnership for a portfolio of community solar assets in New York and New England.

Under the deal, a $100 million equity commitment by Apollo will fund the development of Bullrock's nearly 500 MW pipeline of renewable energy assets.
